Not connected yet!

I am still not able to connect into the Google Talk. Whenever I try to log into the Google talk with my Gmail id, I get the connection error.

I read somewhere that I am getting this error due to Google Talkserver cannot handle the tsunami type connection request? But I think this should not be the reason behind it. Because, I am able to login to Google Talk through GAIM, Gaim is a multi-protocol instant messaging (IM) client for Linux, BSD, MacOS X, and Windows and it is free.

Then, what should be the problem for Google Talk? I am using Airtel GPRS for accessing the internet, speed is quite fine. Please comment if you know anything related to this issue.

Google Talk Launched

I am posting this just few minutes after Google launched Google Talk. Above is the screenshot of webpage I got when I entered http://talk.google.com. For more information click here.

Hidden Windows Apps

To run any of these apps go to Start > Run and type the executable name (ie charmap). WINDOWS XP HIDDEN APPS:
=====================================

20) Syskey = syskey.exe (Secures XP Account database – use with care, it’s virtually undocumented but it appears to encrypt all passwords, I’m not sure of the full implications).
21) Microsoft Telnet Client = telnet.exe
22) Driver Verifier Manager = verifier.exe (seems to be a utility for monitoring the actions of drivers, might be useful for people having driver problems. Undocumented).

What is this?

I noticed a new thing on my blog on blogger navbar. I immediately googled for it. I found this post. There is a large percentage of spam blogs-Splogs hosted by Google’s blogger.com. To fight this issue, Blogger introduced the new Flag button, which allow you report a certain blog if you think it contains spam or any inappropriate content to you.
Well, it’s a good thing for Blogger to acknowledge this very serious issue and start fighting it, and as a start they chose to depend on the collective power of the bloggers and blog readers to identify and flag spam blogs, and hopefully make a database out of them so that they can be excluded from blogs search engines.

cool advertisement ideas

These days, Idea Cellular have displayed cool hoardings of Marathi artists for their ad campaign in Pune. This is the first time, some mobile company have used Marathi actors on their Brand ads. I liked these Idea ads the most as it shows proud of my Maharashtra. I think this is the right way of advertising instead of showing boring vulgar ads.
