Yes, latest version, iTunes 4.9 now supports podcasts in a wonderful way. Good news!. It was promised from apple that the new version will have support for podcasts. For those who don’t know podcasting is like a radio show that you regularly subscribe to, the podcasting software that you use downloads the mp3s of the show for you so that you can listen to it whenever/wherever you like. The difference is that anybody can start a radio show and anybody can subscribe. That’s right, just like blogs.
I have downloaded latest version and enjoying the new radio which is podcasting. I wish NDTV or Aaj Tak had regular podcasts that I could listen to on a daily basis. Now, that would be cutting-edge…

While surfing on the internet, I have found a great site Yummy! Personal PDF Library which offers free PDF links. Actually it is like social bookmarks site del.icio.us. Concept is linking PDFs socially by adding tags. You can create your personal PDF library. Your pdf links are socially available. This concept has yielded a variety of PDF links which you can download free. You can also order a printed version of your favourite pdf from printfu.org. I liked this site a lot and have downloaded few PDF books.

Today,I have succeed in connecting the internet from my mobile LG b2000. I was just waiting for data cable, which was unavailable in Pune. LG mobile service centre in Pune gave me Data cable today. I am quite happy with the speed. While connecting, the dialer shows speed 115 Kbps. Actual speed is 30 to 40 Kbps. But speed is constant and do not vary like ordinary landline phones. From today, I can use internet without fear of large phone bills. Airtel charges 5 Rs. per day for GPRS facility. With my prepaid connection, I can start and stop my GPRS facility anytime. So I can use internet for some days and then can stop. I just have to pay for the days which had GPRS facility on. This is nice. I am going to use GPRS service all days.
Besides internet, I am enjoying FM ie. Radio Mirchi(93.9 MHz), Vividhbharati(101 MHz) and Vidyavani(90.8 MHz) on my mobile. My mobile has stereo FM so music clarity is like High Class Aiwa. Also, it has downloadable java games. I have downloaded lot of java games and applications. Using WAP, I have downloaded a lot of Hindi, Marathi and English polyphonic tones free. I can get updated with latest news anywhere in all the circles of Airtel.
Thanks to the technology, because of which these pleasures are possible.

This is if you are not aware of The Emergency Number Worldwide for Mobile is 112. If you find yourself out of coverage area of your mobile network and there is an emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the Emergency number for you. And interestingly this number 112 can be dialed fully even while the keypad is locked .

Today while playing with my blog template, I lost the template while publishing it. There was no way to recover the lost template using blogger. So all my recent customisation was in vain. I customised my blog template using some recent saved blog pages.
Why blogger, such a big blogging service do not have any blog template recovery option? I recommend all blogger users to backup your template while customising it. There can be errors from Blogger server side while publishing your blog template. So it is a very necessary to backup the template to avoid loss of all customisation.

Backpack – It is also a great service which allows you to store information online. Organise to do lists, notes, images, photos, and more. A cool organisational tool.
